You enter the house into the living room, from where you can access the 2 bedrooms and the kitchenette. Next to the kitchen, there is a dining room, and by incorporating it into the kitchen, you create a nicer space. Furthermore, there is a pantry, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a space for the stairs to the upper floor.

The plot is 1,770 m² in size and includes a cellar, a well, and some sheds. There are also various fruit trees at the back of the garden.

Water and electricity (including 380 V) are available. Gas can be connected from the street. For drainage there is a connection to the sewerage system. The house can be heated with wood stoves. There are three chimneys. Connecting to the internet is not a problem.

Gyékényes is a quiet village in southern Hungary, not far from the border with Croatia. It has a population of approximately 1,000 people, and you can easily do your daily shopping there. The larger town is Csurgó (10 km away), where you will find various shops and a thermal bath. The even larger town is Nagykanizsa (30 km), where you will find all the big chains, as well as a hospital, sports facilities, schools, and everything a large city has to offer.

Gyékényes is known for its clear blue gravel lake. In the summer, people come there to swim and fish, and the lake is also popular with divers due to the clear, deep water. There are various holiday homes and small beaches around the lake. Along the beach, there are various terraces and restaurants.

The surroundings are green and perfect for cycling and walking. Lovely spot for a quiet summer holiday by the water.

You will need to modernize a bit, but you can easily turn this into your Hungarian home for permanent or holiday residence.
