A real challenge for a handy-man
This house needs a lot of work and attention. Nothing has been done about it for years and years and the house and garden have been neglected. So much for the bad news because the price means that there are many possibilities to make something of it.
In the house there are three rooms, the kitchen and a bathroom. Naturally, everything must be renovated so that you can arrange it differently.

Electricity and water are available, but electricity is disconnected. To reconnect this, you must take into account a cost of approximately 600,000 forints. For drainage there is a connection to the sewerage system and the house can be heated with wood stoves. Telephone and internet connections are no problem.
You will find this house in the village of Sály. Sály is a medium-sized village (over 2,000 inhabitants), borders the Bükk National Parks and is located between the wine regions of Tokaj and Eger.
There is a shop and a café in the village and you can go shopping in Mezökövesd.
The town of Eger is not far from here. This beautiful Baroque city with its cozy centre, the imposing basilica and the castle that towers above the city is a 30-minute drive away.
The famous Tisza Lake can be reached in 45 minutes by car. You are then in Poroszló on the edge of the lake. Wonderful for a day at the beach. 10 minutes further you are in the famous seaside resort of Tiszafüred with its many campsites and of course the beach. A trip with a (rented) boat on the Tisza is definitely worthwhile.
Also a beautiful area to take walks from the village of Sály through the foothills of Bükk. There are several thermal baths in the area and for shopping you can go to the M3 Polgár Outlet Shopping Centre.
Several foreigners have a second home in the village and there are even some families who live here permanently.
